The CP-One was designed with the idea that communication enables a

more relaxed treatment, an uninterrupted cycle of communication, check-up,

and treatment. It is important for the patient and doctor to communicate before,

during, and after treatment, both to relieve the patient's stress and gain an

accurate understanding of his/her condition. The CP-One allows unencumbered

communication that is natural, and unlike a conventional doctor/patient setting,

where the patient feels talked down to.With its folding legrest chair, the doctor

can stand directly in front of the patient and perform an accurate check-up. The

doctor's working area is from the 8 o'clock to the 1 o'clock position. Since

the doctor is able to constantly maintain the optimal position, they can avoid

wasted motion and put the patient at ease.
